I purchased shoes online that did not work out. According to the online policy I could return them to a local store. When I brought them into the store, they said they needed to verify my credit card number with the online store before they could refund. They were on hold to speak to someone about this for about 1/2 an hour. It does not make sense to me to have someone wait for 1/2 an hour to verify a CC number. The last four did not appear anywhere on the receipt both electronic and hard copy receipt. My name, address and phone number was on the receipt which I had my ID to verify. I really do not see why it matters to them how they refund the money as I do not go through this with other stores. I really feel they should change how they proceed. Too much of a hassle to shop there anymore.
