This Whole Foods employs the most miserable, lifeless cashiers! I truly do not understand why there are working in a job which they apparently despise. Of course there are a FEW cashiers that are an exception to this rule, and those are the ones I will choose even if I have to wait in line. However, I have had some really bad experiences (and strange!) going through the checkout line. I live at the apartments across the street so pretty much shop exclusively there almost on a daily basis. A few weeks ago, one of the checkers in the express line made a very rude comment as I walked up, and proceeded to rattle off some bizarre statements which didn't make a whole lot of sense. Even the person in back of me had a quizzical look on his face like what is wrong with this guy? Although he tried to pass them off as humor, they were very condescending statements which I did NOT not appreciate. There is also another checker (robot?) who has the most miserable look on her face and will not even so much as look at you or respond in anyway. She reminds me of the soup Nazi from Seinfeld. Im sure WF knows who these individuals are, and if they were smart would send them to some type of customer service training. I have also had instances where I would try and ask a question to the salad/buffet people and they would just walk away like they can't hear you. Just blatenant nastiness! It seems like it just is getting worse every time I go there. Although I really love the store, I am trying to take my business elsewhere if possible. BTW - the guys back in the Fish Department are awesome - Whole Foods saving grace!!
