This establishment gets mixed reviews from me. The decider: what time you go.
If you want a civilized, fairly calm grocery shopping experience then go early in the day. If you want absolute mayhem, anarchy and bedlam then go at night.
In the day it's OK. Senior staff on duty that knows their jobs and the manager is there if you need him (an impressive and courteous fella). The lines move fast and the produce is fresh and piled high.
At night it's clear that the B team is working and the clientele is a bit hazardous. Road rage and occasional fisticuffs in the parking lot.... and it's best to use the south doors and avoid the street roughs that wait impatiently at the service desk near the north doors to cash their dole checks and get money orders for the rent.
So, in the early day it's fairly nice, 5 stars. At night it reminds me of the Bronx (and that ain't good), 0 stars. Averages out to a solid 3.
