  • UOP is a great alternative for serious full-time working students who despite life challenges want to get ahead. It is a real university and depending on the instructor and class like any other college can be quite rigorous. I completed my bachelors in less than two years after struggling through the community college system for ten years. I continued on to my state's university (my UOP degree was valid) for a teaching credential and master's in special education and I am now a happy and fulfilled public school teacher doing what I love. After seeing my success and proving wrong the erroneous myths of UOP not being real my husband enrolled after likewise wasting over ten years in junior colleges trying to transfer, along with his experience in his field compensated with a degree he will soon promote and reach his career and our financial goals.
