| - Just got married here a week ago.
After being together for 6 years and engaged for 2, my fiance and I were just overwhelmed with all the little details that can go into a larger more traditional wedding, and as a result we just couldn't get very far with the planning before stressing out and giving up. Eventually we just planned a one-on-one trip for ourselves to Hawaii because that was a lot more fun than trying to plan a wedding. As the trip grew closer and closer, we thought..."we're just a few hours drive away from Vegas, why don't we just go get married before we go, and then Hawaii can be our honeymoon!"
Well, I'm truly glad we did. Unlike any decent place in Los Angeles, Vegas Weddings was totally willing to work with us on our anniversary, which happened to fall on Memorial Day this year. Even though it was a "premium day" by their booking standards, I was still able to use the Bridal suite to change so that my groom still got his "first look" (note: normally you're supposed to come dressed and ready on premium days.)
Going with Vegas Weddings really eliminated all the stress of getting a wedding together, and price-wise was very fair. We kept it small, going with the Terrace location with our immediate families. We opted for the full photo package up-front, because I (correctly) assumed that going in and buying individual favorites would quickly cost more than just purchasing them all. There were so many lovely photos, and I'm very happy with them! Our photographer took over 200 pictures. I also opted to go with the hair and makeup enhancement from Glam Squad, and do recommend splurging a bit on this if you're a bride considering going with Vegas Weddings. Prior to trying out Glam Squad, I was never impressed with anyone else that attempted to do my makeup. Vegas Weddings also let me use the hand-made brooch bouquet that I had been working on (in place of the provided, somewhat dinky, rose bouquet), and I got plenty of compliments from the staff and the photographer featured it in my photos as much as possible.
I can't speak for the other ceremony locations or the reception service (as we didn't have a formal reception) but for what we wanted, the service staff at Vegas Weddings was kind and helpful, and really worked with me to get the results I wanted out of my little ceremony. In short, I felt the price was very fair, the results better than expected for such a quick turn-around, and if you're thinking about having a fun-filled wedding in Las Vegas, Vegas Weddings can definitely arrange that for you. I had the best weekend of recent memory, and I have them to partially thank for that!
