  • I have asthma and my medical condition could become life threatening.Treatment (medicine) is crucial. Anyone working in a pharmacy would know how important it is for an ashtmatic person to have their medicines/inhalers etc. My doctor faxed in the prescription in the afternoon of New Year's evening day after an office visit where they had given me an nebulizer treatment. I rushed to get to pharmacy before closing time, I knew they would be closed on New Year's Day (as I called them) and if I did not get it that day then I would be without my cortesteroid inhaler until two days later on Jan. 2nd. I was having a ashthma flare up and needed the medicine badly to avoid serious health issues and ER visit or potential hospitalization. I arrived at almost closing time at 4:56 PM. (they close at 5 PM). I went to a register and the young gentleman told me that he had no prescription filled for me and that there was no record of a prescription in their system for me. I had him check the computer system again and he said they had never received it from my doctor. LIE .... LIE!!!! I explained which medicine I was needing and how urgent it was that I got it. He said to me "Maybe you should of come in sooner." That may be true but I raced to get there and got there as soon as I could. The problem is him as he was lying to me. He simply wanted to get out of work to begin his holiday vacation. He put himself first before his ill customer. His actions were selfish, unprofessional, unethical and immoral. I called the pharmacy on Jan. 2nd when they reopened after the holiday and another woman in the pharmacy confirmed they had received my prescription at 4:30 PM. Proof he had lied, he just didn't want to fill it and leave work late. That is awful. I explain this to the woman I was speaking to and she said I didn't come in at closing because she was working, ANOTHER LIE from yet ANOTHER EMPLOYEE. I assured her that the young gentleman waited on me at the 2nd register and I most certainly did come in. I asked 3 times to speak to her manager and she refused to put her manager on the phone. HMMM, wonder why...wth...what kind of employees do they hire, obviously not honest or worthy ones (some of them). I told her I would never do business with Fry's Drugs again and she clearly did not care.I WARN YOU DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE PHARMACY AT FRY'S ON CAMELBACK.
