rev:text	As my lease is coming to an end, I am realizing how excited to get out of here. After touring other apartments I realized I was pretty ripped off for what they call an "upgraded" apartment. The counters are cheap, cabinets are light wood and chip off, and the fake wood floors are so dirty that they leave your feet black. It's not worth spending the extra money for these "upgraded" units. Within the first two days of moving in, the washer flooded the apartment. You would think they would check all appliances before move ins. They were very prompt about fixing the flood and replacing the washer, but that washer ended up breaking a few months later. The disposal has smelled since we've moved in and no matter how many times maintenance "fixes" it, it is not fixed. Sometimes maintenance wouldn't come for my requests and I would have to put it in a second time. Maintenance here isn't very friendly, but they get the job done. The gated community doesn't exactly keep people out of the complex. I have seen druggies digging through the trash at 6am while walking to my car on my way to work. Overall I have felt safe, but I wouldn't walk around alone at night. Too close to the sketchy QT for comfort. The Palms on Scottsdale has overall been a decent place to live, but it's overpriced for what you are getting. PS: The move in process was the BIGGEST pain in the butt. They expected ridiculous information from my guarantor and the process took weeks. Such a nightmare.
