| - My family and I came here for breakfast...
WHAT. A BEAUTIFUL. VIEW.
That was my first impression, at least.
The patio overlooks the gorgeous golf course and beautifully kept greens. There is a calming, tranquility ambiance as I sat there with the warm sun beaming lightly on my face. This is definitely a 5 star view.
The first downside, however, is when we placed our mimosa drink order. Our server who was pleasant enough came back 2 or 3 minutes later to let us know that they were out of champagne. How strange? This is a golf course and it's breakfast hour (we arrived at 9am)! The server offered us screwdrivers instead (vodka/OJ), and with a little hesitation we said, ah, okay, sure. The drinks came out pretty promptly after that.
For breakfast I ordered the southwest skillet. This includes and egg, chorizo and vegetables. IT WAS DELICIOUS! But for every wonderful aspect came a bad one. The server came back over with more bad news - their debit and credit machine was down. Ha. Would have been nice to know that beforehand, but thankfully we were okay.
When we were ready to leave, our server seemed to have vanished - I hate when this happens, especially since we had somewhere to be! Half of us ended up leaving the guys to close up, as we had to get out of there. So unfortunately I will be giving this place a 3 star review. The food and scenery were without a doubt 5 stars, but the unfortunate change of events: no champagne, no debit/credit machine and a slow bill out has brought my opinion down to a 3. I will give this place a second chance because I do think it was just flukey bad lucky for my family and for the server.
