The horse I rode was wonderful, wish I could tell you his name but Wrangler never said. Got there early as requested on website and after signing release form got on horse and as I was the only rider, we took off 20 minutes early which was wonderful. Day was beautiful, sunny and cool. Problem was the Wrangler wasn't very, how can I put this, talkative. I live in Chandler and know the area but only thing he asked me is where I was from. I don't need conversation the entire ride and I prefer to enjoy the beauty of the experience but he was so strange. I don't understand why someone would work in an industry where you deal with people and get most of your pay through tips and then not talk. I tried to engage him but he wasn't interested. Having said that, both horses where responsive and well mannered. I noticed that we where heading back to stables and still had 30 minutes left on my 2 hour ride so I mentioned to the Wrangler what time we started and he checked his time and continued up another trail so I did get a full 120 minutes which I really loved. I tipped him $5.00 more dollars since he accommodated my request for a full two hour ride. I know how to ride so didn't need and instructions and he didn't give any. White Tanks Park is really pretty and I did enjoy the ride but come on, get Cowboys that enjoy what they do.
