| - Love, Love, Love my hair. It's been a long time since I can say that I still LOVE my hair after going home, washing and then styling myself. I'm still getting compliments three weeks after the cut. Guys in the office are asking me if I did something different cause it looks great. My blackjack dealer who hasn't seen me in 6 months noticed the hair. Mind you, I have great hair naturally and always get compliments on the fact that its full, thick and lucious so this isn't an extreme makeover by any means. First my super sweet stylist was Julie. We discussed what I thought I liked and she provided input as to what would look good on me. Julie first added soft layers that framed my face. We went back and forth on bangs vs no bangs. Julie patiently gave her input while I went back and forth on it. I had bangs a while back that looked great, but after my stylist moved I couldn't find anyone that could give me bangs without it looking like a disaster so I had bang-phobia. Finally I decided to give it a shot and Julie decided that if I was going to get bangs, she's not going to give me a long bang compromise...it was all or nothing. Julie gave me the best bangs to narrow out my features. I don't trust just anyone to give me bangs so for the past 6 years, I sported a "safe" one length, no bangs and no frills look. I did get random layers here and there but was left with a mess when I tried to style it myself. Julie took the time to explain to me how to style my hair where it took the least amount of effort with the maximum results. I also have to credit the "brazlian blowout" I had done (at another salon) for my ability to style with ease. The BB cut down styling time which allowed me to sport Julie's cut with a bit more shine and flair. Finally everyone at the salon was super friendly. I had to move my appt back an hour 30 minutes before my appt and still ended up being late due to an freeway accident but got zero attitude or rush feelings when I got there. Mind you, I got the Five Star treatment dispite being late, using my $25 cut and treament GROUPON (another love) and didn't even pay the full price. I was so happy that I tipped Julie $20 on a $25 bill :) I believe the regular cost of a cut is $45 which is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it. What a great find. Thank you GROUPON and Julie!!!!!
