Not a great experience.
Minus:
Not so close to the airport. (tacky tip jar on shuttle service)
Buzzer on front door makes me think that we are in a dangerous neighborhood.
Off-duty police in lobby (during my stay) is not the feeling I want in a Hotel. (how dangerous is it?)
iPhone & iPad chargers left in room mysteriously disappeared (plus a hassle to connect to housekeeping and no promised follow-up).
Plus:
Comfortable Bed
Quiet even though basketball tournament participants necessitated off-duty police stationed in lobby
Plenty of parking.
Clean.
Friendly staff (but that is probably how you can tell you are in Pittsburgh).
Summary:
Generally soul-sucking Marriott mono-culture. (Am I in Fairbanks? oh, Pittsburgh. Can't tell if you are in a Marriott).
