  • I have a strange view about Zippers. I've never really been a huge fan but I do come back every few months. I've only ever been in Wednesdays, drag king night. The atmosphere is dark, kinda dingy. They have two rooms. Front one has a large bar, ATM, seating & a piano. The second room has some seating, darker lighting, a stage, pool tables in the back & the bathroom kinda off to the side. The bathrooms are ALWAYS hella gross. The drag kings are a really big hit or miss with me. The staff has always been really friendly. The crowd either makes the place or breaks it for me. I have more fun in the warmer months. They don't have coat check in the winter. Big bummer for me personally. Drinks are pretty basic here, same with this price. I would recommend having drinks before hand if you don't want to spends an arm & a leg!
