Where are all the coffee places in Scottsdale? After walking about a mile from our hotel through Old Town Scottsdale, with a detour only to find Pascucci closed until noon, our group couldn't believe the lack of coffee shops. At home, we'd have passed about a dozen in that small amount of real estate. And no, Starbucks doesn't count.
We'd almost given up hope, but the first stall we saw at the OTS Farmers Market was What's Your Grind. A few minutes and a few orders later, we were happily caffeinated. The Papua New Guinea was smooth and hit the spot. My only disappointment was that the creamer was the type that comes in the little sealed cups (Land o' Lakes?). I would have preferred carafes of milk and cream, but perhaps it would be a challenge keeping them cool enough in warmer weather.
