  • Wel,l I don't even know where the heck to begin! First, if it was possible I'd give this place a negative 5 star rating because it's that bad! I moved in October 2013. The day I signed my lease they weren't even ready for me. I had a group of 8 people and a u haul waiting in a extremely tight parking lot. they tell me i owe them an additional 100$ even though my paperwork proved otherwise. some idiot drew up the paper incorrectly and that was my problem?? they refused to give me keys in hand even though it was there mistake. so i had to make a quit run to fry's for a money order while my moving crew is waiting on me! i finally get my keys and they give me keys to someone else's apartment. living on the third level and way in the back of the lot made it really irritating. did they apologize ??? no. that's just the start of it. i have a gate key that only opens half the doors in the complex even though all locks are the same. i've never been given access to the amenities even though it's included in my rent. i'm moving out next month and still do not have key access to the amenities or a front gate opener. whenever the gate is closed all residents have to use the same code to enter. when they started closing the gate residents weren't even informed and its closed when the office is closed so you would have to wait for someone to exit to even get inside your home!! the front office staff is sooooooo unprofessional they don't answer the phone 9 times out of ten NO MATTER THE TIME OF DAY. i had bed bugs the first week living there. cockroaches...bugs in cabinets. PRIOR TO MOVING IN!! parking is a complete joke!! someone hit and ran my car and didn't even leave a note!! my neighbors are loud ass druggies. my apartment smells like weed if i leave my windows open. broken alcohol bottles near cars. annoying ass kids that are never supervised! helicopters flying overhead shining lights in buildings almost every weekend! you put in work orders they are never submitted. i found that out by the only professional person who works in this joint. i couldn't even get into my apartment one afternoon because my lock was broken! i stood outside for 2 hours before i decided to break into my own apartment. called left rude message on emergency maintenance line and someone came to my house in ten mins. this place is ridiculous! i gave them my move out notice 4 months in advance!! fire alarms go off in the middle of the night for no reason. and i'm talking about anywhere from midnight to 4 am. talk about jumping out of your skin. the place is poorly lit. half my exterior lights on building are burnt out and they don't care to fix them. the pool is always dirty never even used it once. nor does my key work for the gate even if i wanted to. this review is very true to MY personal experience living here at monte verde. i never know what i'm going to come home too. last month they did fire hydrant inspections. well i don't even have one...hopefully i never need one but when i called the office telling them i didn't have one to put outside for them to inspect this rude bitch tells me well that's why we are conducting this inspection so we know who has one and who doesn't? ok? one month later after inspection AND I STILL WASN'T GIVEN ONE. beware!! do not move here u will regret it as i did! can not wait til the day i start packing!!!
