For the most part, I don't mind Joann Fabrics 'cause they tend to have everything designers such as my aunt need. We've come here for muslin, so my aunt can make test outfits before making the final products for my sister's wedding, and now mine. There's really been no issue either, even customer service which are friendly faces at the check-out counters. So yeah...
I've been okay for the most part until today when Bonnie behind the counter that cuts fabrics decides to throw those cardboard poles (thing that fabrics are wrapped around) across the counter at my aunt. It wasn't aiming like throwing a football, but that passive aggressive act when a person doesn't want to deal with you type of throw crap across a barrier/table. She then had the audacity to say she didn't throw anything when I went back to the counter to tell her I didn't appreciate what she did to my aunt. Just because you get tightlipped with a (fake) smile doesn't mean my sister and I can't read body language or action. I'd classify it as a micro-aggression of the profession. My aunt didn't say anything rude to her. She was just talking, asking questions and changed her mind on one fabric I was going to buy before she even cut it.
2 stars. 1 for any store that has the basic necessities, with an additional star for decent customer service (only from cashiers) in past experiences including today.
