Every one is very nice and the place looks very cool. So I am sad to say that the fixed six course menu fell short of my expectations.
You don't get a choice of entries so no honey lamb, no lemon chicken. Bastilla is a poor version, not the chicken and egg we typically get at home. No wonderful eggplant appetizer. . :-( $170 wasted.
Shrimp scampi was good nice large shrimp cooked to perfection .
Lentil rice soup was good.
Vegetable salad was good and so were the carrots and olives. The humus was good, but not better than what I make at home or buy at costco.
Beef kabobs were not well seasoned and had no flavor.
The main corse couscous and chicken with "steamed vegetables" had no outstanding flavor. Tasted like chicken and rice.
Bastillia was a disaster we were not expecting the bananas and chocolate. I should have known when it was brought as dessert and not an appetizer .
The belly dancer was five stars,.
