It's Cawffee Tawk! There's no Linda Richman here, but don't get verklempt, they offer some delicious coffee, as well as shakes, desserts and ice cream. Just enough variety to prevent yourself from getting shpilkis in your genechtagazoink.
The interior is calming and contemporary with ample seating. When I walked in I was greeted warmly by the cashier/barista. I don't see Greek frappe very often on a coffee menu so I got a medium size subbing almond milk instead of whole milk, with sugar free vanilla syrup.
The frappe was delicious and very refreshing. The coffee was perfectly balanced with the milk and syrup to deliver a light sweetness and the ice was well blended within the drink. While I enjoyed the drink my favorite Greek frappe is actually from Infusion Cafe in Tempe (Although I'm not sure if they offer it anymore) which is frothier and more ethereal tasting (It's like buttah, if you will). In the Coffee Talk version the frappe was more granular in texture from thicker particles of ice. I'd still order it again though, it's just a different version of what I've had in the past.
Service was very friendly and sweet. The barista wanted to make sure my drink was made to my liking.
Due to the friendly service and good coffee I'll be back for sure! In the meantime, talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you a topic. Duran Duran is neither a Duran nor a Duran. Discuss.
