| - China Magic Noodle House is one of my favorite names of any restaurant ever. Tucked away in a corner of the plaza, the worst part of the China Magic Noodle House experience is decidedly the parking. Even so, you can usually find a spot pretty close to the entrance because it's fairly far from the Lee Lee's.
The first thing you should do for yourself after you sit down is order the dumplings. For real. They are gargantuan and hearty and wonderful. I prefer them pan-fried, but the steamed are also great. They are probably my favorite dumplings in the entire world. Strong words, I know. Another appetizer I'd recommend is the assorted marinated meat platter. I couldn't for the life of me identify which meats they are, but are served cold and are excellent, and come with pickled vegetables that pair perfectly.
Also highly recommended are any of the stir fry noodles. My personal favorite are the beef with XO sauce, because they are just the perfect amount of spicy, in my opinion. We also had the noodles with spicy sauce (a separate menu item) and would probably pass on those next time. They're good, but just don't hold a candle to the stir fried.
This place is great for a casual meal, and super affordable. Things come out quickly, so you can get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. If you're looking for an affordable, authentic Chinese meal (that consists almost entirely of various shades of brown foods), then look no further.
