  • Ugh, I really wanted to like this place. It's clean, unique, and as other reviewers have said, the design and presentation of the cupcakes is great. That's where the positivity ends. The cake portion of the cupcakes is very dry and crumbly. I've tried multiple kinds of cupcakes and found this to be true no matter what the flavor. Also, there was an older woman who worked there that was not friendly. They don't have descriptions of the cupcakes available - just the names - so customers have to ask about things like cake flavor, icing flavor, etc. She seemed annoyed to have to give any explanation. I totally understand that she may have been having a bad day, but I certainly didn't appreciate being met with an attitude when there's no other way to learn about the flavors. Anyway, I won't be buying from GiGi's again. Thankfully, there are other bakeries in the area with much friendlier staff that I will happily support.
