So I've never actually written a review before but I'm gonna now.
So I really don't care about my nails and do pedicures like once a year. It's not my thing.
BUT HERE'S THE THING
I went in for a pedicure. The place looked kinda gross but like whatever I was just going to get calluses scraped off.
The woman who came to do my pedicure didn't speak English too well (I don't blame her. English is hard) and also spoke very quickly and softly. She took my hand and gestured to my nails a lot. Eventually I realized I'd just agreed to add a manicure to my appointment.
And that's my fault. I didn't want a manicure, and when it became clear that that was happening I should have just been like "hey stop I don't need that, just the pedicure". Again, my bad.
What really irks me (and why I'm writing this now) is that it was a gel manicure. I don't even know what that is. I'd never had a manicure before. I didn't know what that weird blue light machine was and just thought it was a normal manicure thing. Now I'm realizing (according to the internet) I have to go BACK to a nail salon to get this off my nails. I'm like actively upset about this.
So, all in all, a lot of my bad experience was my fault. But if you aren't someone who goes to salons a lot and knows the ins and outs of what you want, don't go here. You're in Vegas. Go to any of the other million nail salons there are.
