  • If i could give less of a rating, i would. So, do not use Surprise Ford automotive center. Avoid at all costs. Or the following will happen to you: my power steering went out on my Ford F150. Having worked on the system before and not wanting to put myself through that difficulty again, I decided to take it in to be serviced. I made the appointment for 7 am on a Friday morning a week ahead of time I arrived on time for my appointment to get it analyzed (they will not tell you what they can do unless you pay them $150 - but tell you they won't charge you this if you get it fixed with them.). I caught a ride home thinking I would have my truck back the same day. Not even close. At 3:24 pm I was FINALLY called and informed that they were just able to look at my truck (What was the purpose of my appointment, then?) and they would have to replace the pump, high pressure line, and gear box and it would cost $1100 to repair. I wanted clarification and was told by the sales representative he would go get the auto technician and call me back in 2-3 minutes. 45 minutes later I called and left a message. I then received a message stating the tech left for the day. It was 4:45 pm. Saturday A.M I drive down to Surprise Ford and find out from the tech that he HAS to repair the power steering pump and high pressure line as the pump is not pushing out any fluid. When I go to sign the quote for the $1100, I am NOW told it's $2200. It doubled over night. I explained this wasn't what I was told on the phone and the technician stated it was. I guess the recordings they say are happening are only for their benefit, not yours or mine. It is Saturday evening and I still don't have my truck that was supposed to take 4.4 hours to fix and I Signed for half the quote at 9:15am. I will never return and discourage others to go to Surprise Ford. Appears to be a den of confidence men.
