  • Reading all the 1 star reviews, I guess we should consider ourselves lucky that we had such a great experience at Caesers. Like any other hotel, there were some small issues but I have very few complaints. I booked a room in the Octavius tower and used the option to request an upgrade for $29. The valet/check-in area was crazy busy when we got there and there was a sign that said valet parking was full and to keep going to another lot. When we told the valet that we were checking in to the Octavius tower, he told us to leave the car there and enjoy our stay. The lobby was packed but we proceeded to the Diamond check-in area and were the only ones checking in at the time, so it went fast. The girl helping us was friendly and even asked if she could help us with tickets, offered us water and gave us the upgrade with no problem.. The walk to the elevators is a long one but it's away from most of the crowds so we didn't mind. With the upgrade, we ended up with a great a view of the entire pool area from 63rd floor! Our room was clean and decorated really nicely. GREAT marble bathroom with a huge Jacuzzi tub and separate shower, really nice toiletries, double sink, huge vanity area and even a TV. The bed was super comfy and had tons of pillows. The bad...well, $13 for in-room coffee is just robbery. Seriously Caesers, you must be high! The resort fee was supposed to cover internet for one device but I was still charged $4.95. Not a big enough deal for me to argue over but I guess everyone should check out their bills carefully. The line for Starbucks in the morning was insanely long but I guess when your other option is two $13 Keurig pods, standing in line isn't so bad. And there was a really bad sewage odor all along the walkway to our elevators. We smelled it on Monday afternoon and it was still there Tuesday morning when we checked out. Luck or not, we really loved our stay here and hopefully if we come back, we won't have any of the bad experiences so many people have written about.
