  • WestJet employees really do care! I've always found WestJet staff to be friendly and fun. On one of my flights last week they did the on-board announcements in rap! They seem to have dropped the cheesy jokes but who can blame these days when it seems so easy to offend someone. Today though, at check-in, I really felt cared about. I was told that as a single woman travelling alone it was better if I didn't fill out the luggage tag with all my info on it. She said that if my luggage was lost/found they'd have everything they need to contact me on the tag they put on. She wasn't trying to make me paranoid of creepy stalkers but wanted me to be safe. That means a lot.
