Reservations were made in advance for two couples. We entered Tides to a vertically empty restaurant save for two people seated at a table. The hostess took us to a table virtually touching the only occupied table in the restaurant . She was perturbed when we asked for a table in another area. She had to get permission from a waitress to seat us elsewhere . Not a good experience .
I had Manhattan clam chowder which was tasty. My shrimp scampi had four shrimp and ample pasta. They lost us at the door.
