| - our 1st room was one of the "upgraded" Go rooms. We had partial view of the bellagio fountain show. Seemed pretty nice. Then we realized the air conditioner wasn't working well. It was Vegas, in August, and our room ran 75-80° at all times. We decided not to complain, we aren't in the room too much anyway. Just slept without blankets. Then the first person, my friend, tried to shower. The shower head shot off like a rocket nearly hitting her. When me and my husband came back from the pool she had just called maintenance. She was told 20-30 minutes. After 30 minutes, she called again. They said someone would be there soon. We had dinner and show reservations. After 90 minutes still no one. My husband attempted to fix it himself. When he turned the water after it seemed okay, he got hit in the chest by this shower head. So we all sucked it up, in our 80° degree room, and got ready, with no showers. After dinner and show we go to the front desk. We spoke with someone then spoke with the front desk manager Patricia
She told us we had 2 choices. Go to our room and wait until maintenance shows up, and the hotel has no control over maintenance they show up when they want, or we could switch rooms. I really didn't want to pack all my stuff up but I also didn't want to sit around waiting hours for a maintenance person. So we moved. We packed up and had bell hop to our room in under 15 minutes. She didn't tell us she was moving us to a smoking room. It was disgusting. I have bad allergies and asthma. No way I could stay in there. So we called the front desk. They said they had no rooms left. Finally we are told they will move us to a suite with 1 king bed an a pullout couch. Not the 2 Queens we needed but I didn't need breathing issues either. So we agree to move, they said they would send up a bell hop with a room key and a cart for our luggage. 40 minutes goes by.... here comes the same bellhop who helped us earlier, with new room keys, but no luggage cart. Fine, we can drag all our stuff ourselves. To the 3rd room. We get in and while the Go room part looks great, the living room area looks like it hasn't been updated since 1976. The pull out couch, ridiculous. My dog sleeps on a nicer mattress than this. And where is the bedding....no where to be found. Yay, another call to the front desk. They will send some up. After 30 minutes of waiting, I tell my husband to stay in the room, me and my friend are going to the desk. Now the manager won't even come speak to us and is just relaying messages while calling the bell desk and house keeping to corroborate what I am telling her. Luke I am going to lie just for fun and to spend my whole evening dealing with her eye rolling. For the 2 hours and insane amount of inconvenience they gave us a whopping 2 nights resort fee refund. Yes, just the resort fee. A fee for stuff I don't even use on the first place. Finally bedding gets delivered, by maintenance, yes the same maintenance that can't be bothered to fix a shower head. They send housekeeping a little later to make the "bed" but my friend had already done it. She ended up sleeping on the lounge thing they had instead because the couch was insanely bad. Springs popping out and nasty stains. Just terrible. Lucky for us my husband brought his Leatherman tool on this trip. He had to fix several things in this room. The toilet seat was soo loose if you sat too fast you would fall off. The closet door handle was broke and the security latch was falling off of the door. And this is their "suite" I can't imagine that they actually charge people for this room. Next day comes around and we have the do not disturb sign out as we had a late night if spending 2 hours switching rooms. Room service calls at 12 and asks when they can come clean because our sign is out. My husband tells them they can come clean at 2. At 12:55 they call back, and ask again when they can come clean the room. At this point I swear the hotel is just messing with us. I have never had room service calling like this. When we leave, the do not disturb sign had been removed from our door. Suprise suprise. So for the whole resort fee refund we got back, I asked for a late checkout due to a late flight. 11am is too early for an 8pm flight. We get late checkout at 1. But they charged me $40 for it, so they got all their money in the end. Never, I repeate, never stay here. No matter how good the deal, no matter nice those Go rooms with the TV in the bathroom look. If you have any issues you will receive the absolute worst customer service anywhere. I have been treated better by a motel 6. It's hard to believe this is a Caesars resort. I have stayed at many other Caesars properties and received the best treatment until this. Now I recommend mlife resorts all the way. Again, avoid the flamingo at all costs.
