Let's put it this way. You came all the way to Montreal. it's not right to leave without having a maple sugar high - which I managed to obtain in au pied du cochon.
Don't get me wrong, their signature dish is amazing - it's a great pig out! So much that I had to yelp "get that away please " when the waiting staff asked whether I'm done with it!
Starters are on the small side, but given how big their mains are, it all make sense. Maybe a better portion control is needed!
Also their wine is amazing, reminded me of some of the vintage I had in France...
