Every time I make a visit to Vegas, stopping by the Gun Store is always on the to-do list, usually with a few friends in tow. This recent trip was no different.
It has been a few years since my last trip and I had heard from family and friends that getting into the Gun Store has become a bit more problematic due to its popularity, so I made sure to call ahead to see what the wait was.
Walking in, we found that the Gun Store has been remodeled with a new streamlined set up and range, so maybe that is why we did not have a long wait (midday on a Saturday). Also a few competitors have opened up which probably attributed to that as well. Either way, as soon as we made our choices (we all went with the WWII package) the only waiting we had was the prep our range attendant had to do.
As with the previous visits, we all had a blast. Our attendant was very professional and it is hard to not have a fun time when shooting a WWII-era Thompson at a target of Nazi Zombies. Our packages came out to around $150, that includes targets and a t-shirt. I will mention that do not feel you have to do a package as when you walk inside, they still offer single gun rates as well.
So it was another trip to Vegas and another great outing at the Gun Store. Call ahead to check on the wait time as well as the availability of their free shuttle too.
