I love the Diamond Bakery in LA Rowland Heights but this branch in Vegas is nowhere as good.
The buns were still decent and they were probably the only items I could recommend getting. Had the BBQ pork, chicken, pineapple, ham/cheese and ham/egg varieties and they were all quite good. Texture is chewy and the fillings were tasty. You can't go wrong with that. However, the traditional Chinese pastries were really disappointing. The Taiwanese suncake was not fluffy and flakery at all. The green bean pasty tasted very mellow and the filling were rather dry. The other pastries didn't have the right flavors either.
Just stick to their buns and you will have a better experience. Even better if you can score something fresh out of the oven.
