| - This office has had some problems. The wait times, as noted by several people, can be very long so I'm guessing it depends on which provider you see. I wasn't overly impressed by any of the doctors and they've had quite a bit of turnover. I too had long waits and other issues, enough that I was about ready to leave after my first few visits.
However, the office manager was kind enough to hear about my issues and make every attempt to resolve them. I had appointments cancelled without my knowledge and forced to see a doctor that didn't know my history. After speaking with Andrea (I think that was her name) she asked how I felt about seeing a nurse practitioner. I have no problem with that at all, in fact most of my positive experiences have been with a PA or NP. So I met with Pearl Mauer, and she is beyond amazing!!! She took the time to ask some mental health questions that had been neglected on my previous visits, discussed what I've used before and seemed to genuinely care about my health. I never felt rushed. After the first 3 months I felt amazing! Pearl however, made me redo the same questions and knew that something more was wrong that I didn't recognize, so she suggested another small dose, but didn't really push. 30 days later, I wasn't completely convinced, but she asked me to give it 1 more month. The difference is beyond words!!! I'm so glad that I found someone caring enough to really listen and take the time to figure out what would help and didn't get frustrated with my questions. After my 1st 6 month checkup I remember getting a huge hug from her, knowing that she really did make a difference in my life. Yesterday was no different, she made sure everything was going well, answered my questions, and I was on my way! If I have any questions, the nurses are really great about responding and returning phone calls.
The problem that I had over the last few years was mostly was with the front desk. As I mentioned, messing up appointments, long waits to check in, etc. It does seem that they are hiring and training additional people, and it has made a noticeable difference. It isn't 100% yet, but these things take time. So if you do happen to have a bad experience, please reach out to them and let them know. They can't fix problems that aren't brought to their attention.
