| - I liked this place a lot. Here's why:
Convenient location. Staying downtown is great and all, but if you're not actually staying downtown all day, every day, being outside of the center of town can be pretty nice.
Ice cold A/C. Can't beat that.
Full size fridge. I didn't utilize it to its full potential but it's nice to see. Wish I'd known ahead of time.
Delicious hot breakfast. The breakfast here was far above average for IHG properties. Waffle making station, omelets, sausage AND bacon (on different days but still, nice), corned beef hash, plenty of good fruit, hot coffee, bagels, etc.
Nice, full cable package. I'm not a big TV watcher but I need more than 5 or 6 channels, and if there's no Golf Channel, we have a problem.
Easy-to-remember password for WiFi. I hate having to keep the little slip they write the password on when you check in. The password here was a single, short, normal word that everybody knows and was easy to remember. Love it!
Tues-Thurs "happy hour" reception. They bring out a little food and drink for a few hours in the early evening for everyone to enjoy, all free. That's a nice, simple perk and you get to visit with a few of the other folks staying there.
Two minor flaws:
The pool is outside
There's no hot tub.
