  • Best coffee, best patio, best service. We FINALLY went to Bergie's last weekend after watching the place evolve for some years as we'd drive past on a mission or eat dinner nearby on our few trips through town. So last weekend my husband remembered how much I've been wanting to stop in there (BIG brownie points) and we had such a beautiful time. Now that we know what we've been missing, Bergie's IS a destination - worth the drive from east Mesa. Such a cute, cozy, clean garden with lots of comfy chairs, decks, and nooks to relax in and savor some of the best espresso I've had since leaving Olympia. Even in the height of summer, the shade trees and umbrellas make mornings very pleasant. We went back this weekend and caught the excellent farmer's market on the way back to our car. We'll be frequent visitors!!
