  • Horrible Service!! BE WARNED - You had better cross your T's and dot your i's, because this guy will find a way to RIP YOU OFF!! I brought a damaged amp into him to diagnose and to see if it could be repaired. Well, weeks later, I called him to check on it and he said it would cost almost the price of the amp to fix it. So I said forget it. He said he would give me $40 bucks for the amp to take it off my hands. I said ok... then when I asked him to mail me a check for $40... he said more like $10 because he has a $30 diagnosis fee *THAT HE NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT* and I said he never told me this. He says it's on your invoiice and that I should read my invoice. WHAT A SCAMMER!! If he would have verbally told me there was a diagnosis fee, I would have NEVER brought it in to him. Now he keeps my amp for the diagnosis fee. ABSOLUTE SCAM!! He also has little respect for others as I had also brought a pedal in to him because it was causing distortion on my bass amp and he had tried it at his shop and said it did not. When I said it did, he said he didn't believe it and that I should bring my whole rig into him to prove it. I should have known this guy was a jerk from the start... as he wasn't very nice on the phone on my initial call. He sounded like I had just got him out of bed and was pissed about it. People... go to Field Services in Phoenix instead and get MUCH better service and they do NOT charge a diagnosis fee if they can't fix your item.
