The simplest inquiry and they failed.
Saw a used vehicle advertised on-line (2003 Isuzu) and drove by to have a look at it. I initially drove around the lot looking for it and couldn't find it. I seriously did not want to go in because I didn't have the time to play the idiotic game of used car sales and was hoping to look at the car on the lot, go back home and make offers on-line.
After driving around the lot not finding it, I saw a sales lady out front. I pulled up and asked about the vehicle (I stayed in my vehicle) and she said that she would check her computer and be right back.
She came back, said that it was still available and asked me to come in to fill out a guest slip. I asked her to point me to where it was, that I just wanted to look at the car for right now. She said it's available and that I should come in so we can talk about it. I told her again that all I wanted to do was look at the vehicle first and make my decision to buy after I looked at it.
I asked her where the vehicle was and she she still hesitated and finally just pointed in a general direction of the lot. She said "it's probably over there somewhere".
First...it wasn't over there.
Second, the car was no where on the lot!
Third...how could you fail on the most simplest of tasks. I'm there to look at a vehicle. Would you not know where the vehicle is? Would you not ask your manager where it is on the lot?
This dealer is totally shady. You're going to totally play the whole car game and it's not going to go easy. The car wasn't on the lot...they wanted to get me into the dealer and try to upsell me on something else.
You will get the same ole car sales game here...nothing new..nothing different..nothing special...only frustration!
