| - Its been at least 10 years since I've been back here. Checked in with hubby and with another couple on Friday. They said we couldn't check in til 3pm, but if we paid $100 right now for 2 rooms, we could get 2 rooms to check in right away and on the same floor across each other. Of course we paid so we can check in.
I didn't like if we didn't valet parked, self park was $10/day (not bad), we had to drag all of our luggages from one side to the other; it was inconvenient.
We had a king size bed with view of Luxor. Not too bad, but I didnt like that there was no fridge or coffee maker, ugh. Plus, ice machine was on the other side of the elevator.
I was a bit disaopointed that we didn't have a door hanger so housekeeping do not come in the morning, but they did come in and fixed our bed and changed towels for the 3 days we were there, so that was good.
Also, glad Excalibur had a tram to Luxor and Mandalay, so it was convenient to go ro our shows/exhibits.
Overall, it was a decent hotel, since we watched the "Tournament of Kings"; was disappointed since its in Vegas and expected more compared to the location in Buena Park,CA.
The Plus is that it is a family oriented hotel with an arcade for young and old.
Food court and restaurants were ok.
I would probably not come back here because of the hotel amenities. :(
