  • This bar took over Palominos' location a few months ago. They did a beautiful job renovating and turning a tiny bar into something huge and open. Its a great place for a traveler to stop in and have a few drinks before a flight or during a layover. Its located at the end of the D terminal near the candy store and across from the little news stand. This is one of the only places to sit down and enjoy a meal in a restaurant atmosphere. In my opinion it has the best food in the airport but I may be biased because I work here! From the subzero temperature beer to the flatbreads and primerib burgers we have the best. I truely feel that everyone that comes in enjoys the food/drinks and service. I've never had any complaints and I've been here since day one. I'm proud to work here and as our little airport bar becomes more popular I hope you all enjoy it aswell. Tip: this bar is great but the prices also reflect the quality. Its not for everyone but if you have 10$ to spare I highly recommend you come try one of the coldest beers in calgary next time you find yourself in gate D in the calgary airport.
