Today we got a call to pick up my Dad at The Heights of Summerlin (5/11/15). When my Mom called the East Wing administration area they said he's ready to be picked up he no longer needs their assistance. The doctor for today Dr. Daskin (?) Said Dad's in good shape to leave he can go without checking his aortic stenosis and gout on his hand and foot.
I have to give kudos & 4 stars to Rino, E.J., and Charmaine for being very professional and respectful to visitors and patients.
Unfortunate, while trying to leave tonight at the front guest administration door (2 sliding doors). The front desk reception woman had both doors locked at 8:50pm. The doors were to remain open till 9pm she even told us as we walked in this evening. She lied she wanted to leave early. When we asked her to please open the doors to let us out she gave us a dirty look. She took a deep breathe and unlocked the doors and gave a look to my father and us to walk faster although she can see he is having a hard time to walk fast. We got to the outside sliding door she unlocked it, turned on the switch and the door wouldn't open. My Mom said "oh oh is it broken it won't open?" The woman said strongly and rude it's not broken it's because it's closing time. I said is not 9 yet it must be broken she insisted it's not broken and used her wooden paddle for her key to force it to open. Mom said good it's not an emergency otherwise people can't go out. She insisted it's not broken and pushed the sliding door open as we one by one slipped out. Very RUDE woman at the front. They need to change her or retrain her on customer service. If you're not happy having a job give it to someone who wants to work and be respectful. Your time will come crazy grouchy woman. I hope for the fire and health safety the maintenance people check those doors and the fire department too.
