  • I simply cannot get over the smell of this place...it is intoxicating. I went to Lavo only because I had free drink coupons that i could not stand to let go unused. I found the bar a bit small compared to the overall size of the lounge/restaurant downstairs. I did not go upstairs to the nightclub...which I am sure would have had more bars. Either way, the food is decent, reminiscent of fancy bar food. The drinks were well-made, though I can imagine them taking a hit on quality when they are busy. The good news though, since Lavo is still relatively new, there are great comps to be enjoyed (like open bar nights).
