| - I was shopping for a car & decided based on the advertisement & the brand that I'd go with Carmax. So far, I feel like I've made a pretty good choice.
I had a sales rep of Ted Tulle. I found the car I wanted (05 Altima) he held the car for me until I could come in the following week. Literally, Saturday morning, I came in, he gave me a test drive, then I was brought to the back area to sign off on paperwork. Seriously, I think the whole process took 90 minutes to 2 hours...way shorter time than it takes in a car dealership where they gotta talk to the guy in the back.
The dissatisfaction took place once I drove OFF the lot. There was an issue with the car a few days after I bought it, causing it not to accelerate. We thought possibly trans, it was sent to a shop nothing was duplicated, I had to take car back. It immediately started doing it again. This time it was sent to Nissan. Nissan determined bad alternator charge. Fixed & resolved. Now I'm happy. They had my car more than I did first 3 weeks after buying, which was disappointing, however they had a loaner available at no cost which was a convenient accommodation.
