| - I had a total hip replacement done here one week ago, and was absolutely thrilled with everything about this hospital. I was there one night, and from start to finish my stay was excellent. All of the pre-surgery nurses were kind and caring, and were very thorough in telling me what they were doing and why. Surgery was supposed to start at 9, and I was wheeled back into the OR at 9:15 which was not a problem. The anesthesiologist was hilarious, and made the whole 'putting me under' process a lot less scary than I thought it would be. Surgeon was great, just as expected, and has left me with virtually no pain.
The PACU nurses after surgery were great about getting me to feel comfortable and fully awake before asking me a ton of questions and getting me talking, which I really appreciated.
Both the daytime nurses and nighttime nurses were incredible, and so patient with me! I was using the restroom about every hour on the hour for a good 14 hours after my bladder was fully awake, and everytime they had to come into my room to help me they did it with a smile.
Meeting with the hospitalist one-on-one was both the day of surgery and the day after was something I am incredibly thankful for. Dr. Singh was so knowledgeable about my medications and gave me great recommendations as to how to take them and ways to keep my pain to a minimum without loading up on medications.
Also, the food was SO tasty! It was like getting restaurant-quality entrees, and didn't seem like it was coming out of a hospital cafe.
I would absolutely recommend this hospital to anyone needed requiring an orthopedic surgery. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!
