  • By far my favorite hotel. I live in vegas, but with family so needed a place to stay when my fiancĂ© came to visit. My guy and I stayed two separate occasions within the same trip, because we had to change to new years and a lot was already booked up-he decided to stay another day so we ended up in the carson tower. First off, we stayed in the Gold Club VIP room- I LOVED IT the bed was SO comfortable, no bedbugs very clean, the Shower was awkward to get into, and as long as you plan to take your clothes out of the closet in there before a bathroom hog gets in you're fine. My guy LOVED that there was a TV in the mirror, I think he turned it on and never turned it off lol. I kinda dug how people were envious of us when we had to insert our gold key to get to our floor, and we even explored the presidential/executive suites floor one night BEAUTIFUL... I might try that when we get married because why the hell not. It was cool to have free ameneties, wifi, water snacks... The staff was incredible here and pushed my decision to go for the lowest room type for the one off day I needed another room. Carson tower; when we first walked into the room, I was surprised to find some things in the room I liked BETTER than the VIP. The bathroom for one, was a little more normal in size and the showerhead envelopes you when youre in there I wish I had that one at home! the bed, again SUPER soft and no bedbugs. . . still treated awesomely even though we booked the bareminimum... only flaw about that room was the AC was a little terrible and my guy gets hot. Golden Nugget is my favorite place on fremont for sure, the parking is so easy I didn't feel like it was going to be a hassle except, it was packed and a couple nights, we had trouble getting a spot but eventually we got lucky. Every intention on booking this again should I need to.
