  • Leone's is one of those places that you have to search for in order to find. It is located in one of the multitude of strip malls that line Weston Road between Langstaff and Rutherford Road, on the east side, tucked away in the back corner, so finding it can be a chore...but well worth it. The store itself is larger than one would expect and carries a wide arrange of items besides meats. But it is the meats that are the main draw. Beef. veal, lamb, chicken....it's all here at a very reasonable price for fresh cuts. Their chicken kebobs are nicely marinated as are their chicken skewers (called tenders). There is also a section of frozen foods although I stick to the fresh cuts of meats. They also sell vinegars (balsamic runs the gambit from cheaper $2.99 brands all the way up to aged $29.99 brands), flavoured coffees from Italy, pastas, etc. Although it's only been open for a short time, this place looks as though it has already an established clientele, so hopefully it'll be here for a long time (it's located in a part of the strip mall that used to be an Indian Food restaurant). Great selection, friendly staff, reasonable prices....what's not to like?
