  • Amey is a GODSEND! When Baby was brought home we struggled tremendously with BFing. There was a lot of pain and Baby had lost a lot of weight in the hospital so that we had to supplement. To say the least we were a wreck and not confident that he was getting the nutrition he needed and that the weight loss may continue. Amey was the only LC that called us back right away, and got us feeling comfortable enough to get us through until she was able to come over the phone, no small feat I might add. She was able to put us at ease that he was indeed getting enough milk and was able to help me out with the nipple damage that was causing the painful feedings as well as how to accommodate his very minor lip tie. Amey was available whenever I needed and I can easily say that I would have thrown the towel in if she hadn't been there to help. Amey was so awesome that my husband called on her again when we were having supply issues and were thinking about weaning early (4 months). She came out right away, as always,and spent the time answering all our questions. The other amazing thing I can say about Amey that she also took the time to talk with my husband and answer his questions and concerns in a respectful and caring manner. They spoke one-on-one a few times and I appreciated the fact that she respected him as the partner he is
