Liked the restaurant - but a couple fails on their part.
First - the good. The food was actually really good. While I did not get the buttermilk chicken - one of my friends did - and OMG, it looked and tasted amazing. If we go back, that's what I'm ordering.
Now, the bad. Prior to the entrees, we were served a cleansing sorbet (awesome right?). However, the "kid" just set them down in front of each of us - not explaining what it was/the flavor/or anything. Was just odd.
I ordered the Prince Edward Island Steamed Mussels and the Local Duck Wings as an entree. I love mussels but thought I needed more than just that for dinner - hence the wings. Both require the use of fingers and can get messy/sticky pretty easily. I expect a nice restaurant to offer a warm towel towards the end of my meal to clean my hands - come on, even Buffalo Wild Wings gives me wet naps! But, no such towel. I ended up pouring some water from my glass onto my napkin and hitting up the restroom.
Prices weren't bad (including beer/wine prices). Service was good for the most part. A good restaurant in Elizabeth, but could be better.
