| - Came here during the holidays to attend an all ages event (Solaris). To get here by public transpo can be super annoying, and your best way to get in is probably by cab, car, or even by bike. We went early and didn't have to wait long to enter. The decor is reminiscent of Hakkasan in Las Vegas, but way more spacious. Sound and lights were also great in all the rooms. The coat check situation was kinda messy at the end, so I would suggest getting your jackets early in the winter time. The view of the Downtown core is absolutely phenomenal from here.
We were allowed to bring empty water bottles in, however to refill you water bottle, you would have to trek to the washroom. In a super congested club, I didn't find it ideal to push through sweaty teens to get water. I opted to purchase it from the bar instead with a $$ pricetag.
Towards the end of the night we wanted to see Shiba San in the Purple Room. None of the staff in the 19+ area or main room area knew where it was. We finally found it after walking a flight of stairs up.
A pro of this place is that the floor was minorly slippery and it was easy to pretend to know how to moonwalk. A major downside is the taxi situation at the end. If you plan on leaving with a taxi, prepare to walk a bit further out or bribe them. It's illegal for a cab driver to turn you down, but it is more likely to happen in this area. A suggestion, maybe call Uber when you're about to leave, so it will be ready when you come out, and arrange to meet up a bit away from the club, so you don't get stuck in the traffic jam.
