  • Previously I would've given this place more stars. Unfortunately, during the last visit my experience with their customer treatment was extremely poor. I ordered a lot of food (appetizer, entree, and dessert) and a drink. Along with everything I ordered, I also asked for a glass of water with lemon. Instead of providing the lemon as every other place does, the waiter asked the manager / owner, who told him NOT to provide the lemon. The waiter came back and told me "they didn't have enough". Are you kidding me??? So they had lemons but refused to give it. BOTTOM LINE: This place is too cheap to provide lemons with water. As a restaurant, you should order sufficient food stock to meet your customers' needs. Even if it was true that they were running low (which itself is doubtful), IMO refusing to give a slice of lemon to a paying customer who ordered a lot of food and other drinks is a very poor business call. Perhaps they're saving that lemon slice to give to a customer who orders only a lemon iced tea? I also asked the waiter for a side of Sriracha Sauce. He spoke English but pretended that he didn't know what Sriracha Sauce was. That's like telling me you don't know what salt or pepper is. Again, this place is too cheap to provide Sriracha Sauce to its customers. They have a wide menu selection of savoury and sweet items. With respect to the savoury food, some of the sauces that they come with tasted weird. Not the standard Sriracha, mayo, or plum sauces that usually come with such food items; rather, they seemed to be the sauces that should be used for cooking, not dipping. On the beverage side, they have a wide variety of tea selections but NO coffee! And no soya milk nor other milk substitutes. So not the place of choice to go if you're looking for bubble tea but are lactose intolerant. Nor if you're looking for coffee. One good thing that they do seem to have is AC outlets for laptops. I'll opt for another place with AC outlets that also has lemons though.
