This would be our 3rd HW Heater in as many years. I thought Rain Forest would help us out since this is pretty unusual to only get 12-16 months out of a unit and they installed the previous 2. The leak was also coming from where one of their tech's worked on it 9 months earlier, the unit was covered but they wanted me to pay them another $500 (paid $650 just sixteen months earlier for the same situation) to swap out the unit. I could understand if it was a few years old, but this was the 3rd unit and 4th service call in 3 years. Over priced and not service oriented. Their tech Henry was very friendly but he couldn't make the call or give me pricing, that was someone back in the office. Told me they would review my history and get right back to me, 3 days later not a peep. I feel like they sell junk units so that they can come back in a couple years and make their money off service calls. Not impressed with their customer service...
