  • I just think that people should be aware that if you need a transplant you better have lots of cash or be told to go fund raise for your care here. Even with insurance that should cover most of the cost of a transplant, you cannot even get an estimate on what the patient cost would be. I have been getting strung along for probably three months now trying to get even idea of how much it will cost me personally and I still can't get a straight answer. By the time they decide that I am worth talking to, it will be too late. I am pretty darn disgusted with the whole run around. The last word was that I should consider fund raising, i.e. begging for the money and still not knowing how much I would need. "Do no harm." Right.
