  • My meal of tri-tip and two sides looked pretty epic. And sure enough it was epic -- an epic disappointment! I have to agree with some of the other reviewers who wrote that their food lacked flavor. The mac n cheese in particular really surprised me. It was amazing how they were able to remove so much flavor from the end product. I don't know how they managed to pull it off. The tri tip and mashed potatoes could both be described as just okay. Neither impressed, and I ended up dousing a healthy amount of bbq sauce on the meat in order to enjoy it. You'll find much better bbq just across the street, at a little place that rhymes with Fruity's.
