  • Y'all. Where do I begin?! This whole place is stellar, and Chickie is *THE* best! This is the 4th place I've tried for an undercut design, so I feel I have some decent experiences with which to compare Sun Gold/Chickie to. First of all, the shop has that chill, upscale vibe. Every detail well placed, every space well utilized. Seeing two men barbers and a woman barber is refreshing. My review is specifically about the barber side, but the tattoo portion seems great, too. Chickie is not only timely, but great at what she does, and pretty laid back for a such a talented perfectionist! She took note of what I liked and didn't like about the sample pix and previous experiences and then got right to work. From the cut itself to the line up and the straight edge finish, everything was relaxing and enjoyable. Then I saw it in the mirror, and you guys, I was so pumped. I suppose when you've had a couple of less-than-ideal results, it really gives you a new appreciation for this art. Chickie is an artist. Go see her!! Plentiful parking. Sweet location. Alcohol. Branded apparel. Great service. Talented people. Easy choice: Sun Gold.
