I have had cox communications for years. Sadly this month I checked my credit and they sent me to collections for $37! They were sending the bill of a "prorated" amount I owed from our old condo to that address that I clearly told them we were moving from, and I never received anything since we moved to a house (4 years we have been at our house and now it is going to collections). Why was I not told over 4 years ago a new bill would come when I shut down the cable and moved it to our house!? Why didn't they have me pay it when I closed that account from that address? Why did It never get forwArded to our new address or receive a call (we still have cox)? Never received anything until it appeared on collections. I would have paid the bill if I knew. Then I called to pay it and have it removed from collections and cox said they could not remove it and that they could not give me anything saying the amount owed and the address they were sending the bill to so I could dispute wth the credit agency of no knowledge of the bill. Why can they not provide this information!? Now I have a collection account for $37 from a bill I never received, ever. We currently have cox and are canceling and moving on. Terrible customer service
